Kamaʻāina - Sol Bright & Johnny Noble

Hawaiian moon where tropical hula maidens
Seem to dance and croon to a native tune
I'm just a malihini haole boy
And it thrills me through and through

I love to dance like tropical hula maidens
And to move and sway that funny way
Cause I want to do what the natives do
So I can be a kamaʻāina, too

Aloha mai they all say to me
E komo mai they're inviting me
E inu i ka ʻōkolehao
Malama pono ʻoe aha hana ehe hene

I've learned to say mahina mālamalama
And they taught me to do the hula ʻami hou
So, Honolulu I can always say
I'm a kamaʻāina to you now
